David Garver, co-owner and co-creator of Aurafitness, has been an A.C.E. certified personal trainer for more than 25 years. He is also trained in massage and reflexology, as well as indoor cycling. David skis, hikes and plays baseball in the Taos Men’s Baseball League. He played basketball for Illinois Wesleyan University.
David believes in building strength, cardio endurance, and flexibility, whether you are a high-level athlete, weekend warrior, in post surgery re-hab, or a retired recreationalist. “Obviously, each individual is unique, and requires a unique approach to achieve their goals, but I find these goals are universal. We all want to be stronger, have endurance and flexibility, and a higher level of energy. These are the components we all need to function in the day to day,” says David. "I like to set specific goals with my clients, and keep it challenging, simple and fun.”
David is an American Council on Exercise Certified Personal Trainer since 1995 with specializations in Spinning, Sports Conditioning, Core Conditioning and Injury Rehabilitation. He is also a trained screen and stage actor, as well as a singer-songwriter and recording artist. He rocks out with his band Stonedaddy locally.
