This practice emphasizes mental focus and physical strength, postural alignment, and efficiency of movement.  A discipline called Yi Quan is the basis for the moves of an accessible Yang-style tai chi sequence. Qigong exercises are included in class with dynamic stretches and breath-aware movements taken from Wild Goose Qigong as well as older qigong forms such as 8 Silk Brocades and 5 Animal Frolics. All levels. Beginners are welcome any time.

"From a traditional Chinese perspective, our contemporary attempts to heal the body without healing the mind or to train the mind without strengthening the body are equally futile." - Sifu Gregory Fong
