Saturday, March 25 | Qigong & Tai Chi Theory & Practice: Presented by Golden Mountain Tai Chi


Learn the basics of Qigong and Tai Chi theory and practice at this seminar, hosted by visiting Master Instructor Jerry Dibble from United Kung Fu and United Tai Chi and Wellness in Phoenix, AZ . The first hour will include a lecture on the basics of Qigong theory, including Yin-Yang theory and 5 Element theory in Traditional Chinese Medicine, of which Qigong is a part. The second hour will include instruction in Qigong movement practice. The third hour will begin with a lecture on Tai Chi theory, followed by an hour of Tai Chi practice on the Yang 24 Tai Chi form.  


Cost: all current Aurafitness students (not just current Qigong or Tai Chi students) and one guest will get the discounted rate of $65 for the entire Seminar, or they can pay $17 per hour (lecture or movement in Qigong or Tai Chi. Note that it's cheaper to pay for the entire seminar. For example,, Paula could bring a friend (a member and one guest), and if they want they could just pay $34 dollars each for the Tai Chi lecture and movement. The rate for non-members will be $108 for the entire seminar, or $27 per hour. 


Master Instructor Jerry Dibble taken from the United Kung Fu website: Master Instructor Jerry Dibble is currently a registered 7th degree Black Belt in Kung Fu with the United Martial Arts Association of America. He is a Professor of Masters and has obtained black belt rankings in many other styles of martial arts including Aikido, Jiu-Jitsu, Shorei Kenpo, Kendo, Karate and Doh-yi. Along with Instructor ratings in each of these disciplines; Master Instructor Dibble is an accomplished Yoga Instructor. In addition to teaching over 50 poled, bladed and flexible weapons, he is certified by the NRA as a Training Counselor and teaches classes and certifies Instructors in Concealed Carry, Pistol, Rifle, and Shotgun – the modern weapons of our time. He also teaches classes and certifies Instructors in Archery.


Master Instructor Dibble has been a lifelong student of physical mastery, starting at an early age with boxing and shooting with his father, and was recognized as a musical prodigy when he was very young. He continues his training in martial arts with Grandmaster Jerry Cook, Grandmaster Jinheng Li, Grandmaster Xiao, Master Leone, and Master Campbell. In addition to his own training, he runs the United Kung Fu and United Tai Chi Academies; trains Instructors in martial arts, Tai Chi and Qi Gong around the world; operates the highly acclaimed Zen Marksmen Firearms training and Firearms Instructor training; and still finds time to take on projects as a recording artist.
